Brandishing a songbook of classic rock anthems, one band hopes to kick up a storm this Saturday.
Tribute band four-piece Piston Groovy will playing Stevenage’s Red Lion as part of a Hertfordshire-wide tour.
Playing hits by the likes of Deep Purple, Alice Cooper and Bon Jovi, they hope to keep audiences entertained all night long.
Fontman Paul Dockree said: “We’re just a collection of seasoned amateurs who get together to have fun and play those classic heavy rock numbers that everyone knows. There’s no pretentiousness and we try not to take it too seriously. We always start the songs together, end them together, and in between we jump up and down and enjoy ourselves. It’s sure to be a great night.”
The music starts at 9pm. Visit www.pistongroovy.co.uk for more information.
