Gathering folk greats at Hitchin hotel

A who’s who of folk will pitch up for this week’s Sunday slice of folk.

Having fronted legendary folk bands Fairport Convention, Lindisfarne, Fotheringay The Hellecasters, Albion Band and Magna Carta - Doug Morter, Ray Jackson and Jerry Donahue can safely lay claim to have formed a supergroup with The Acoustic Gathering.

All known for their musical craft and distinctive style, the trio bring together decades of experience and a deep love of the music.

The Gathering will be at The Sun Hotel, Hitchin as guests of Hitchin Folk Club.
