Lives are changed forever after fading daytime TV presenter Fay Finch is unexpectedly reunited with an old face from her schooldays on This Is Your Life.
Already worried that her career is on the wane, Fay is mortified to come face to face with old classmate Caroline, who back in the day was the obnoxious girl everyone picked on.
But learning of Caroline’s bereavement, Fay comes up with an idea that might just rescue the ratings of her own show, Frankly Fay.
The tables are turned when Fay finds her old classmate trying to take over her life and exploit her fame to her own ends.
That’s the premise of My Own Show by Lesley Bruce, which will be performed by Letchworth’s Settlement Players from Thursday, February 19 to Saturday, February 21 at The Settlement in Nevells Road.
Tickets are £8 from from David’s Music in Eastcheap – find out more online at www.settlement-players.org.uk
