Cheese sandwiches and folk is the way forward on Sunday as Benslow Music hosts a family picnic with three live acts.
The Folk - who released EP Wait For Ever on Bandcamp on Wednesday - will play their brand of acoustic folk-pop, Celtic Krystal will be getting jiggy and reeling, while The Vortex bring out their soothing accordion and violin playing at the Hitchin music school – all while you lounge with a picnic in the lovely grounds.
The Hitchin Festival event from 2.30pm to around 6pm is a fundraiser organised by The Friends of Benslow Music. Bring your own blanket, chairs and grub. Entry is a fiver, while accompanied under-16s go free.
