It’s often hailed as the perfect Christmas film – but it’s not often that fans of family festive favourite It’s A Wonderful Life get a chance to see it on a big screen.
But that’s what’s on offer at St Mary’s Church in Hitchin on Saturday, December 13, when Frank Capra’s black and white classic, featuring James Stewart as the small town hero who comes to learn that every life is important, will be screened in aid of the Humanitas charity, which has a shop in nearby Bucklersbury.
Tickets for the show, which starts at 7pm, are £10 or £6 for U16s, available from the Humanitas shop or Hitchin Initiative offices in Churchyard.
