Feist is a well-travelled lady of the musical landscape. Having previously fronted über-cool Canadian indie-rockers Broken Social Scene, messed around with electro-punk mate Peaches and released an award-winning solo debut album, Feist is no stranger to the industry's wilds. The Reminder is album number three, and to all intents and purposes is a solid, fascinating and effortless-sounding showcase of this lady's breadth of talent. Birds tweet behind softly-strummed guitar and trumpet on The Park, taut handclaps propel Sealion into uplifting territory, and single 1234 is a lesson in summery joy. 4/5
