A heartfelt performance in Hitchin tomorrow night by a well-known singing group will support the work of Cardiac Friends.
The award-winning Shannon Express Chorus has around 60 male singers performing four part harmonies that most people know as barbershop style – but it’s much more than that.
A spokesman said: “The days of striped waistcoats and straw boaters have long gone!
“Our music is slick, harmonious and thoroughly entertaining and our repertoire is rich and varied, with timeless classics, hits from the musical theatre and modern standards all having their place.”
The concert is at The Priory School in Bedford Road from 7pm, and tickets are £10 on the door.
Cardiac Friends is a self-help group which provides those affected by heart attacks and other cardiac problems with support, information and social activities – find out more at cardiacfriends.co.uk.
