Day tickets for this year’s Standon Calling musical festival are now on sale.
The show will feature a host of world-famous artists including headliners Frank Turner, Public Enemy and Maximo Park.
They will be joined by chart-toppers Clean Bandit and Grandmaster Flash as well as underground indie bands such as the Hackney Colliery Band, Ibibio Sound Machine and homegrown Stevenage-based four-piece Maddox.
Independent, intimate and just 20 minutes from Stevenage, Standon Calling has been described as an “overgrown house party” that provides visitors with “a festival experience like no other”.
Day tickets to the festival are currently priced at just £50 for the Friday (August 1) and Sunday (August 3) and £60 for the Saturday (August 2). Weekend tickets are currently availble for £119 but organisers warn anyone interested that they are selling out fast. The festival also boasts a swimming pool, dog show and a fancy dress competition - this year’s theme being ‘lost in Latin America’. Visit www.standon-calling.com for more information.
