Lillian Hellman’s controversial 1934 play The Children’s Hour, set in an all girls boarding school rocked by allegations of a same-sex love affair, is the latest production from the Stevenage Lytton Players.
The short run starts next Wednesday, November 19, and runs until Saturday at the Lytton Theatre in Vardon Road.
Director Dave Slade said: “It is a very adult play but as it was written in the 1930s it is all handled very sensitively and carefully.”
There are £8.50 tickets still available on 01438 357407, £6 concessions are available on Wednesday and Thursday.
