Comedy night with a difference comes to Hitchin

THERE are ‘1.4 Billion Reasons’ to attend a comedy evening which comes to Hitchin tomorrow (Thursday) and aims to provide a catalyst to end extreme poverty.

Six comedians will take to the stage at Que Pasa as part of the Global Poverty Project’s summer tour, in which they have visited towns and cities across England to promote their ‘1.4 Billion Reasons’ campaign.

Doggett and Ephgrave, who host a monthly comedy night in Hitchin, will headline the show, and are joined by Andy Johnstone, Darren Pomroy, Sam Musk, Zak Stokes and ‘Smokin’ Dick Burns’.

The event will also feature a presentation by the Global Poverty Project who aim to demonstrate that by making simple changes in our own lives we can all find solutions to end extreme poverty.

Doors open at 7pm at the Market Place venue, and tickets can be purchased for �5.

Entrance includes a buffet and a complimentary drink.
