CD Review: Massive R&B Spring 2010

FEATURING 40 tracks over two CDs this album includes the cream of the R & B world including classics hits and chart-topping tunes.

It opens with the hugely popular track Empire State of Mind by Alicia Keynes and Jay Z.

Other highlights include the sultry sounds of Cheryl Cole’s Parachute, the lively Rude Boy by Rihanna and the mellow Meet Me Halfway by The Black Eyed Peas.

I wouldn’t really describe Lady GaGa’s Bad Romance and Daniel Merriweather’s Cash in My Pocket as R & B but they are welcome tracks.

There are some lesser known artists on the album but mostly it’s a nice mix of popular songs from some of R & B’s most successful artists.
