BBC Radio One tipped her to be one to watch this year and Ellie Goulding is proving them right.
If you haven’t already heard of this petite blonde girl from Herefordshire then you soon will.
Her new single, Starry Eyed is enjoying plenty of radio play and praise from DJs. She has a warm and pleasing voice and funky acoustic-pop sound. The lyrics are catchy, girly and heartfelt, focusing on romantic successes and failures.
Her debut album, Lights, went straight to number one in the album charts, selling 40,000 in the first week of its release.
It shows great potential, making it possible for this young starlet to mirror the success of Little Boots and Duffy.
