IN 1959 Truman Capote (Philip Seymour Hoffman in an Oscar winning role) travels to Kansas to research the murder of a family.
However, as he digs deeper he suffers a conflict of mixed emotions as he gets closer to one of the killers.
The events that occurred would lead to Capote's greatest work, In Cold Blood.
Hoffman is sensational. He captures the anxieties and confusion Capote must have felt as he became more involved in the case. A very good film. 4/5
