A CANADIAN comedian comes to Stevenage this weekend to leave you “in a state of hilarity that most comedians can only dream of”, so say The Sunday Times.
Star of BBC1’s Live at the Apollo and a Time Out Comedy Award winner, Mike Wilmot returns to UK shores for another tour, more than 15 years after his first stand-up gig in Britain.
Described by The Scotsman as “at times raucous, offensive and downright crude, he was nonetheless very, very funny”, Mike can also boast appearances in Rich Hall’s Cattle Drive on BBC4, award winning film It’s all gone Pete Tong and regular stints on BBC2’s Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
The show, part of the Gordon Craig Theatre’s Comedy Roadshow, takes place this Saturday at 8pm.
Tickets cost 12 - call 01438 363200 to book.
