A BUSKER on the streets of Europe who has gone on to entertain all over the world is the special guest at Baldock and Letchworth Folk Club next week.
Singer-songwriter Pete Morton will bring his involving style of traditional singing to the Orange Tree in Baldock telling stories that speak of the human condition from his own unique perspective.
Pete is renowned in folk circles for his passionate, strong voice and strident guitar style, and for combining traditional songs with his own compositions – a mix of humour, politics, love and social comment.
Always challenging himself, he has recorded five solo albums of original material including the multilingual Casa Abierta - Ten Songs in Different Tongues and an album of traditional songs called Trespass.
Tickets for the Sunday January 18 gig cost between 8 and 10. For more details call 01767 683583.
