HAVING just played to over 110,000 fans on tour, this East London four-piece appear to be taking the fast-track to summer festival success.
Brilliant debut single Back Again stomped through the charts showing countless US pretenders how to write a rock tune with mass appeal, clearing the way for the even more addictive Suzie, as catchy a three-minute pop nugget as anything Razorlight could throw out.
But they can't quite sustain the hook-laden momentum across Civilian's 11 tracks, and hit a low with the stadium-opera piano fudge of Ivy Parker.
But the overall sound is like a tub-thumping Editors on a shed-load of uppers - and that's no bad thing.
