Famous for her paintings of large ladies, Beryl is a passionate observer of human behaviour.

Now 80 years old and still painting, she is one of Britain's most popular artists.

About 70 signed limited edition prints will be on show and available to buy, with prices ranging from £250 to £5,000.

The exhibition is open to the public from April 25 until May 7 - except between 2pm and 3pm on April 26 - and entry is free.

A fish 'n' chip supper evening including a brief talk on the life and work of Beryl Cook will also be held on May 4.

Tickets are £15 each and include the supper, wine and the talk.

Advanced booking is essential. Call Maria on 01462 670788.

All profits from the evening event will be donated to Letchworth Arts Centre.
