Arts: Same comedy club, new venue

IT will be the same comedy-goodness but at a brand new venue as monthly offering Mostly Comedy takes up a new permanent residence in Hitchin.

Bombora Bar and Grill in Bancroft provides the new home for Doggett and Ephgrave’s 32nd instalment of their comedy and music club, which features four comedians and an acoustic set.

Topping the bill on Thursday, September 30, will be 82-year-old lifestyle guru of BBC Radio 2’s Steve Wright in the Afternoon, Barry from Watford, as well as Luke Benson, Mark Cooper-Jones, ‘mushybees’ and Jay Foreman.

Doors open at 8.15pm with the first act taking to the stage at 9pm. Tickets are 5 and are available on the door or via www.mostlycomedy.co.uk
