One of horse racing’s most famous jockeys will be riding into Hertfordshire for two shows this month.

Legendary sportsman Frankie Dettori can be seen at the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage on Thursday, November 16, at 7.30pm.

Fans of the charismatic Italian jockey have a second chance to catch him when the show takes the stage at The Alban Arena in St Albans on Saturday, November 18, at 7.30pm.

In this evening of chat, anecdotes and humour alongside special guest Peter Burrell, audiences will hear all the details of the jockey’s illustrious career.

The night includes an audience Q&A session.

Dettori joined an elite club of flat jockeys last year when he rode his 3,000th British winner at Newmarket. That saw him emulate Sir Gordon Richards, Pat Eddery, Lester Piggott, Willie Carson and Doug Smith, who have also reached the illustrious figure.
