American roots music is the focus of the next two Baldock and Letchworth Folk Club nights.
Dan Cassidy (brother of Eva), will be at the club’s home The Orange Tree in Baldock on Wednesday playing fiddle alongside UK singer and driving guitarist James Hickman. The duo will be playing traditional folk interpretations as well as new music from their debut album Severn Street.
The following Wednesday Americano will be guests. The trio describe their music as “songs from the great American back catalogue with a style inspired by country, old time and bluegrass from the 1930s onwards”.
