In anticipation of the long-awaited return of live shows, a singer-songwriter from Hitchin has announced a homecoming gig.
Alex Francis has confirmed a concert at Hitchin's Club 85 on Friday, July 16.
He returns to the Whinbush Road venue for a rare full band performance following a string of sold-out shows at the Club in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Alex said: "We've had an amazing initial response on tickets."
Originally hailing from Hitchin, Alex introduced himself to the mainstream as the guest vocalist on Melanie C's 2017 single Hold On.
He has since toured with the likes of Sting, Stereophonics and Alanis Morissette, and released a string of successful singles and EPs.
His music has been championed by TimeOut, Clash Magazine and BBC Introducing, and he is currently developing an exciting slate of new material ready to release in 2021.
