Pictured in rehearsal before tonight’s curtain up are the cast of Vinegar Tom, a challenging drama about power, women’s rights and witchcraft which runs at the Lytton Theatre in Vardon Road until Saturday.
The new take on Caryl Churchill’s 1976 play, set in rural 17th century England, is director Aaron Govey’s first full-length play for the Lytton Players, with new music by the production’s musical director Derek Blyth.
There are performances each evening at 7.45pm and tickets are only £6 from the box office on 01438 357407 or via the ticketsource website – but it’s not suitable for anyone under 16.
