Doggett & Ephgrave’s Mostly Comedy nights are settling in to their new home at Hitchin’s Sun Hotel, and next up is wrinkly writer and wit Arthur Smith, as famous for his outrageous cabaret antics as his TV appearances on the likes of Grumpy Old Men and The One Show.
He’ll be joined on the bill next Thursday, February 18, by rising star Harriet Kemsley, whose mantlepiece already boasts ‘new act’ trophies from comedy festivals in Bath and Brighton.
Doors open at 7.30pm with the laughs due to start at 8pm, and hosts Glyn Doggett and David Ephgrave holding it all together
Tickets are £11, and you can book yours in advance at www.mostlycomedy.co.uk.
The website also includes details of coming attractions – pride of Kettering James Acaster will present a preview set in March, official German comedy ambassador Henning Wehn showcases work in progress in April and award-winning Irish comic Aisling Bea will be in town in July.
