It’s that time of year again, and with Christmas bearing down on us it’s also time for the annual Hitchin Thespians seasonal show, now in its 24th year.

Christmas at Woodside sees musical director Alan Childs lead an evening of traditional Christmas music and readings featuring many popular audience participation carols.

There is, of course, a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie to help things along on each of the three nights that the show is staged at the Woodside Hall in Walsworth Road, which will be sporting suitable festive dressing to help create the Yuletide atmosphere.

The first Noel will be next Thursday, December 10, and the last day of Christmas as far as the Thespians are concerned is Saturday, December 12.

There are performances each evening at 7.45pm and tickets are £10 – you can book yours by calling 01462 641575, sending an email to boxoffice@hitchinthespians.org.uk or visiting www.hitchinthespians.org.uk.
