Work by Irish artist Peter Deighan, renowned for his portrait work and studies of sporting scenes, will be on show at Champneys health spa from this weekend.
The opening evening of the exhibition is on Saturday, and the show – which will feature more than 60 works, including his most recent paintings of golf superstar Rory McIlroy and Stevenage Formula 1 race ace Lewis Hamilton – will run for a month.
In a long career Peter, who works mainly in oils and is also a noted wildlife artists, has painted four Prime Ministers, Tiger Woods and comedy legend Eric Morecambe.
