The soaring sounds of sci-fi hits from Hollywood will be reverberating around Stevenage’s Nobel School for a family concert which will feature a programme filled with popular music from films and TV.

And youngsters who come along to enjoy the show will get a free pass at the door if they sport fancy dress reflecting the theme of the Stevenage Symphony Orchestra event on Sunday, March 22.

There will be music from Star Wars, ET, Star Trek and many others, with children invited to dress up for the space-related theme or as their favourite space or science fiction character.

Music director Phillip Brunton said: “We always enjoy putting the family concerts on and it is a pleasure to perform for children, their families and friends.”

The concert at the Mobbsbury Way school starts at 3pm and tickets will be available on the door – £6 for adults and £3 for children.
