There’s an advanced taste of next year’s Rhythms of the World festival this weekend, for those still pining for one more encore in the wake of last month’s big Hitchin bash.
The Bricklayers Arms in Queen Street, a long-time supporter of the Rhythms team, will be playing host to a day of music and family fun tomorrow, Saturday.
Booked to appear are local favourites including Kev Maher, G La Roche, Fire and Rain, Mikey King and Mark Sullivan.
The music starts at noon, and that’s not the only RotW event on the calendar. Funk, Latin and soul music will be served up by Marcus Hurley at The Victoria pub on Saturday, August 15.
You can find out more about the festival online at www.rotw.org.uk.
