There’s no respite from the raunchy revelry on offer at Hitchin’s Market Theatre.
Although the Maximus Durex, this summer’s tangle of titters and togas, is nearing the end of its run tickets for the annual adult panto at the Sun Street venue are now on sale.
This year’s panto will be Snow White & The Magnificent Seven, and you can expect the timeless combination of near the knuckle humour and double entendre which has made the annual production such a popular fixture on the calendar.
There are only four shows left for the Roman romp – tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday and next Friday and Saturday, September 25 and 26.
The Market Theatre panto is proudly billed as the seasonal show with the longest run anywhere in the world – the curtain goes up at the beginning of December and it carries on all the way into May.
