Members of the Leigh Orpheus Male Voice Choir are making the trip from Essex to support Stevenage Ladies Choir at a charity autumn concert next week.

The town’s Barclay School in Walkern Road is the venue for the event, in aid of Remap – the national charity working through local groups of skilled volunteers to help disabled people achieve independence and a better quality of life.

Remap volunteers design and tailor-make equipment to meet individual needs, so that people can carry out essential daily tasks without having to ask for assistance, or enjoy a wider social or sporting life.

The two choirs will be combining on Saturday, October 17, from 7.30pm. Tickets are £8 (concessions £6) and there will be refreshments and a raffle.
