The team at Hitchin’s Queen Mother Theatre always like to serve up something a little different for their Christmas production.
Last year’s Peter Pan was a tad mainstream after 2013’s Swallows & Amazons, so this year it’s a left field choice again with David Wood’s stage adaptation of Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach.
It’s curtain up for the Bancroft Players under the direction of Rory Reynolds next Thursday, December 10, with performances on Friday and Saturday, and further shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday the following week. There are matinee shows on both Saturdays.
Tickets are priced from £8 to £10, call 01462 455166 or book online at www.qmt.org.uk.
