There will be plenty of buffing and basking going on at Old Warden’s historic aerodrome this weekend, as fans of all things with four wheels flock to the venue for one of the first outdoor motor shows of the year.

The Gemini Events show is normally held at Easter, but with that holiday falling so early this year – the fifth in which the event has been run – a decision was made to put it back a week.

So Sunday, April 3, is the date for your diary if you want to feast your eyes on some fantastic motors or rummage around the extensive jumble in the grounds of the famous Shuttleworth Collection of vintage aircraft and vehicles.

The Berkeley Enthusiasts Club will be bringing several models built in the firm’s former factory in Biggleswade between 1956 and 1960 and there will also live arena with commentary by Nick Salmon, a former chairman of the Letchworth Classic & Vintage Car Club.
