An established folk group will be performing at a Hitchin pub this month.

Celtic Krystal are set to play at The Victoria Pub on Ickleford Road on Thursday, July 20 from 8.30pm with Celtic folk songs and ballads.

Fronted by singer and guitarist Robin Campbell, the experienced performer has a music portfolio consisting of TV and radio appearances, albums and concert performances

He will be accompanied by fiddle player Krystal Woodbridge, a former violin player.

Campbell and Woodbridge are occasionally supported by bassist Duncan Ivory, fiddle player Stephen Cordiner and Dicky Deegan on pipes and whistles.

Robin said: “We are a traditional folk group playing dynamic jigs and reels, haunting airs and passionate Celtic folk songs and ballads.
