Spreading their musical net from the 70s to now, the good people at Shuttleworth Aerodrome are putting on a Summer Pop Picnic Party this month.
The Biggleswade air ground is hosting an eclectic bunch on Sun August 22, when Jason Donovan, Aswad, T-Rextasy, Diversity, Edwin Starr Band, Ska All Stars, The Sounds Of Philadelphia, The Inflatables, and ‘a selection’ of X-Factor and Britain’s Got Talent contestants nestle in among the historic planes.
It’s a weird line-up, but if you’re lolling on a rug munching sausage rolls and drinking champagne, it sounds pretty good to me.
The music starts at 1pm until 10pm. Tickets are �35.50 for adults and �15.50 for under-14s. Call 01767 627933 to book.
