A UNIQUE piano duo with increasing acclaim the world over visits Hitchin next week as part of a music trust’s international concert series.
Benslow Music Trust welcome Katzenjammer to the town, following appearances at Edinburgh’s King’s Theatre and Perth Theatre, where they starred in Ted Dykstra’s and Richard Greenblatt’s celebrated play 2 Pianos 4 Hands,
A slang German translation for “hangover”, Katzenjammer combine a virtuoso performance with sharp humour and brilliant satire which you can see as well as hear - with a live image of their hands projected onto a screen during the show.
Made up of Steven Worbey and Kevin Farrell, whether it’s Beethoven or Beyonce, Liszt or Liberace, Strauss or the Scissor Sisters – nothing is immune from the pair’s Katzenjammer treatment.
Katzenjammer come to the Ibberson Way Venue on Friday, December 3, with the performance starting at 8pm.
Tickets cost 11 or 8 (concessions) and are available from Benslow Music Trust via info@benslow.org or 01462 459446.
Alternatively they can be bought in person from Hitchin Initiative at 27 The Churchyard, Hitchin.
