After a break of 18 months, one of the best music nights in the area returns for a one-off gig.

The much-loved Peel Club is back at Hitchin’s Club85 on Sunday with Minor Pilot, Echo Lake and Barnet-based Delta/Alaska – an act managed by the same team as Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, who will be playing only their second show.

Peel Club promoter and Rhythms of the World band booker, Steve Smither, said: “The Peel Club was always looking to bring the best of the local scene together with interesting new bands from outside of the area and when I was offered Delta/Alaska by Big Scary Monsters Records I jumped at the chance.

“Rhythms takes up a lot of my time and I can’t always keep up with music that appeals to me personally so I’m really looking forward to this show.”

Doors open at 7.45pm for the 16-plus gig. Admission is 4.
