THE sounds of the 50s will have the Plinston jumping, jiving and bopping this weekend.
Five-piece rock n rollers the Kingcats will be roaring into Letchworth on Saturday night to recreate the music that was a call to teenage rebellion.
Listing their major influences as Elvis, Eddie Cochrane, Big Joe Turner, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash, the boys say they will get things stomping with their own “unique sound and style”.
Hosting the night and keeping the party going til late will be DJ Strollin Steve.
