AN IRISHMAN and a Yorkshireman will be playing two gigs together in Comet country this weekend.

Lastminutecomedy club’s monthly offering returns in the form of Irish comedian Robbie Bonham and Yorkshire obervation maestro Craig Murray.

Bonham, described as “quirky, zany, and, most importantly, funny” by Capital magazine, took to stand-up a couple of years ago and is regular performer on the Dublin scene.

Murray, who some may recognise as the face of Plusnet Broadband, started out in 2008 as a compere, sharing the stage with Harry Hill, Stewart Lee and Robin Williams, but is now performing his own shows with a trademark mock-confrontational style.

Completing the line-up will be Paul B Edwards, MC for the evening.

The first of two gigs takes place at Woodside Hall, Hitchin, at 8.30pm tomorrow (Friday,) followed the day after by a repeat performance at Letchworth Arts Centre.

For both nights tickets cost 10 or 8 members on the door, open from 7.30pm, and are available in advance for the Letchworth show on 01462 670788.
