THE river bank and the wild wood come to Hitchin this weekend in a magical show for children.
The Queen Mother Theatre plays host to Ratty, Moley, wise old Badger and the irrepressible Mr Toad in Wind in the Willows on Saturday.
Adapted by Rosemary Bianchi from Kenneth Grahame’s classic book, the show will be performed by The Winding Road Theatre Company, a small group of actors whose aim is to bring favourite childhood stories alive for a new generation of theatre-goers.
There will be two afternoon performances, at 2pm and 4.30pm, with tickets priced at �8 or �6 concessions.
