A DRAMATIST will be celebrated by an amateur theatrical society in a play of love, misunderstanding and family reconciliation.
Playwright Sir Terence Rattigan, who died in 1977, would have been marking his centenary this year so Knebworth Amateur Theatrical Society (KATS) will be perfoming Rattigan’s In Praise of Love in his honour.
The play, set in the mid 1970s, follows the terminal illness and chequered history of Lydia, heroine of the Estonian Resistance.
Knebworth Village Hall will host nightly performances at 7.45pm from Thursday, November 17, until Saturday, November 19.
Tickets cost 6.50 or 5.50 concessions. Call Colin Macleod on either 01438 235375 or 07949 075719 to book, or call into Village News in Station Road, Knebworth.
