A celebration of independent record stores will see nu-folk, pop and blues acts playing throughout the day in Letchworth on Saturday.

The lovely guys at David’s Music will be hosting live music throughout the afternoon as part of national Record Store Day.

Pugwash featuring Thomas from Duckworth Lewis Method are first up at noon, followed by an acoustic set by My Passion’s Jon Gaskin, and blues-folk from Mr David Viner. Duo Hannah James (Lady Maisery) and Sam Sweeney (Bellowhead) end in fine style with some violin, accordion and clog dancing from 3pm.

There will also be hundreds of exclusive releases on sale – with a list available from 7am and the buying commencing at 8am.
