FLOWERS and plant photography will be on display as an artist hosts her first solo exhibition in her hometown.

Stevenage resident Emma Townsend will have a collection of flower and plant images on show at The Foyer Gallery at the Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre.

“I’ve been a photographer assistant for quite a few years so now I’m trying to branch out myself,” said Emma.

“I’ve worked with a photographer for many years who specialises in flower photography herself and I’ve learnt quite a lot from her.”

The free exhibition runs from Monday, June 11, until July 1.
