A guitarist is opening a new rehearsal studio in Stevenage this weekend.
Kristian Lawrence will open the doors of The Practice Roomz in the Old Town on Saturday – with an invite for everyone to come and have a look around and try out the equipment.
The musician got the idea for the business after playing in his garage with his band got too noisy and then struggling to find the perfect place for them to practice.
“The idea was to make a building with purpose-built rooms, proper sound proofing and great acoustic qualities,” the 31-year-old said.
“There is a lot of demand for places to practice and with the high amount of musically oriented schools and pubs in Stevenage and the surrounding areas it would be a great addition to Stevenage Old Town to provide a place to practice safely and comfortably.”
The unit at 6 Pond Close has five rooms, fully kitted out with PA, drums and amps.
