A PIANIST from Stevenage will take centre stage when he joins up with a symphony orchestra on Saturday.
Ben Ward, who has worked for 10 years as a pianist and teacher for musical groups, has been chosen as the soloist for Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.3, which he will perform with the Hitchin Symphony Orchestra.
Having previously appeared with Letchworth Sinfonia and Stevenage Male Voice Choir, Ben’s latest perfomance takes place at St Mary’s Church in Hitchin in a programme which also includes Edmund Rubbra’s Sinfonia da Camera and Mozart’s Symphony No.35.
The concert begins at 7.30pm with tickets priced at �14 for adults, �12 for concessions and �3 for under 16s.
