FLYING paintings will soon be landing at an art gallery in Stevenage.
Two Hertfordshire artists with a passion for aviation are holding an exhibition, Aeronautica Et Al II, at the Boxfield Gallery in Stevenage Leisure Centre.
Derek Bartlett from Knebworth and Edmund Miller from Hatfield both held careers in aeronautics, as well as serving in the Royal Air Force.
Now retired, the duo are combining specialist aviation knowledge with artistic flair to bring together a selection of flight-inspired paintings.
Their works will be showcased alongside other landscape paintings of Hertfordshire and Essex by Derek.
The show opens on January 13 and runs until February 12. Admission is free.
