LAYING the Ghost, a play by Simon Williams, is being performed by the Fairfield Players.

This is a comedy for adults and will be on the stage at Stotfold Memorial Hall from Thursday, March 23, to Saturday, March 25.

The main character is Margot Buchanan, an ex-actress with an acid wit, who is living in a retirement home for ageing thespians with her friend Freda.

Freda is a psychic and talks to ghosts which, combined with an array of interesting guests, makes Margot's 70th birthday celebrations a hilarious day with some unexpected consequences.
