Whether Mr Hamilton's second album cover is cynically designed to lure the old-school soul fan into picking it up, or is an innocent homage to the 70s heyday of the genre, give the (vinyl lookalike) disc a spin and you'll find yourself resolutely still in the Noughties.

Smooth production and an obviously modern take on the genre dulls the senses to start and adds little, but his voice has an engaging catch in it.

And much of it ain't half bad, the title track a stand-out lament about today's apathy towards the ills of our society.

Doesn't live up to his idols, but certainly worth a listen. 3/5
