MARY, Mother of No Man's Land is coming to Bedford's Bowen West Theatre by production company, Collisions.

Described as the "greatest story never told", it investigates the question mark hanging over Mary's actual existence. Or is she one of history's hallucinations?

In this play, Mary is a dreamer, a refugee, a traveller discovering herself and the world, as well as being a teenage wife and mother.

The tale is full of suspense and action, comedy and emotion, and shows an awkward young girl who spends her time talking to angels.

Also at the Bowen West Theatre, the European Arts Company brings a Pinter Double. This rare chance to see two of the shorter black comedies by 2005 Nobel Laureate Harold Pinter.

A Slight Ache and The Lover, both portray the relationship between two couples and the darkness that lies beneath.

It is recommended for audiences aged 15 and over.
