SLUG-LIKE creatures from outer space arrive in the town of Wheelsy and turn most of the locals into zombies.
As a comedy-horror reminiscent of 1980s splatter-fests Slither unleashes both barrels straight on the nose of its intended target.
The only criticism is that it offers very little in originality to the theatre of splatter-fests, but that matters very little.
Slither is very entertaining without trying to scare the pants off you.
