THE heroes of the first film are back as the end of the Ice Age approaches and a huge glacial dam which holds off a vast oceans is about to collapse. The only way for them to survive is for all the creatures to reach safety at the other end of the valley.

Ice Age 2 is much the same as the first film, although of course not as fresh.
The plot is almost non-existent but there is just about enough fun in there to keep the youngsters entertained. 2/5
