A WRY and amusing look at the issues of disarmament is taken by Not with a Bang at the Henlow Theatre.
Set in the early 1980s, the play centres round a group of wives who join the Women's Peace Movement.
Their husbands, members of the Territorial Army, think it is a joke until the women start rallying and demonstrating outside American air bases and the men find themselves the laughing stock of their battalion.
The final straw comes when the women, in an attempt to make their husbands give up the army, take drastic action.
Performances take place on October 6 and 7 and October 13 and 14. Doors open at 7.30 and performances start at 8pm.
